Sharing a monochrome picture from the film’s set on social media, Akshay reflected on their journey together, calling the moment more than just a memory.
“Kabhi kabhi ek tasveer sirf yaadon ka tukda nahi hoti… ek poori journey ko samet leti hai,” he wrote, adding that the image was from the shoot of *Bhooth Bangla*, his second-last film with Asrani.
‘It Was Like a Masterclass Every Time’
Akshay revealed that he and Asrani worked together in 12 films over the years, including popular titles like Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, Garam Masala, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Reflecting on those collaborations, he described each experience as deeply enriching.
“Total 12 films humne saath ki, aur har ek mein maine unse kuch naya seekha… it was like a masterclass every single time.”
He also praised Asrani’s effortless comic timing, emphasizing the depth of skill behind it.
“Comedy itni aasaan lagti thi jab woh karte the, lekin asal mein woh ek mushkil kala hai. Asrani ji uske ustad the aur hamesha rahenge.”
