Following the box office success of Welcome To The Jungle, director Ahmed Khan has officially confirmed that Welcome 4 is in active development. The announcement secures the future of the popular comedy franchise, which recently crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone at the domestic box office.
Led by Akshay Kumar, Welcome To The Jungle featured an ensemble cast including Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, and Jacqueline Fernandez. Although the third installment omitted original fan-favorite characters Uday Shetty and Majnu Bhai—played by Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor—franchise star Akshay Kumar previously hinted that a fourth film could potentially reunite the original trio.
Speaking on his future professional slate, Ahmed Khan shared plans to launch his 25-year-old son, Azaan, before officially confirming the next major chapter in the comedy series. “Next film will be Welcome. That’s the next part!” Khan stated.
In addition to the upcoming fourth installment, Khan is currently weighing multiple large-scale commercial projects with prominent Bollywood producers Firoze Nadiadwala and Sajid Nadiadwala.
