Ramayana: Part One, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, has crossed ₹100 crore in worldwide advance bookings ahead of its November 5, 2026, theatrical release. The film’s strong pre-release ticket sales across India and overseas markets have put the Nitesh Tiwari-directed epic among the major box-office attractions of the year.

According to figures attributed to trade tracking platform Sacnilk and reported by The Telegraph Online, the film generated more than ₹72 crore in domestic advance bookings, including blocked seats. Overseas pre-sales contributed over ₹40 crore, taking its worldwide advance-booking total beyond the ₹100-crore mark.

The figures cover the film’s opening period and reflect considerable interest ahead of its theatrical debut. However, advance bookings should not be confused with actual box-office collections, which will become clear after the film begins screening.

Domestic advance bookings led by Hindi markets

The Hindi version is driving a substantial share of Ramayana: Part One’s domestic advance sales, with Telugu and Kannada following.

An NDTV Movies report, citing Sacnilk, put the film’s Indian advance-booking collection at ₹96.64 crore across 83,087 shows in 898 cities. It also reported approximately 25.68 lakh tickets sold.

The language-wise figures in the NDTV report showed the Hindi version leading with ₹78.93 crore. Telugu contributed ₹8.09 crore, while Kannada recorded ₹7.27 crore. Tamil and Malayalam accounted for ₹1.86 crore and ₹49.23 lakh, respectively.

The regional figures indicate that Hindi-speaking markets are providing the largest share of advance-booking revenue. The National Capital Region led city-wise collections in the NDTV report with ₹13.33 crore, followed by Mumbai at ₹11.90 crore and Bengaluru at ₹9.97 crore.

Different trade reports have published varying advance-booking totals because of differences in reporting times and whether blocked seats are included. The figures should therefore be read with their respective qualifications rather than treated as directly interchangeable.

North America emerges as a major overseas market

International advance bookings have also contributed significantly to the film’s pre-release performance.

The Telegraph Online reported that overseas pre-sales had exceeded ₹40 crore, with North America emerging as the leading international market. Paid preview screenings scheduled in the United States for November 4 had generated more than $1.2 million, with over 51,000 tickets reportedly sold.

The publication also reported that more than 1.4 lakh tickets had been sold for the November 4–8 opening period in the US. Approximately 37% of those bookings came from preview screenings.

According to the same report, estimated US advance sales for the opening weekend stood at around $3 million. Australia and the United Kingdom were among the other overseas markets contributing to demand.

These figures point to a significant international presence ahead of the release, although the eventual overseas box-office performance will depend on actual theatrical collections.

Trade estimates point to a strong opening

The early booking figures have prompted trade publications to project a substantial opening for the film.

Bollymoviereviewz estimated that Ramayana: Part One could collect ₹50 crore to ₹60 crore nett on its opening day in the Hindi market. Its worldwide opening-day projection across languages was placed at ₹130 crore to ₹150 crore.

Another report published by The Telegraph Online cited trade projections suggesting a possible five-day North American opening of $13 million to $14 million. The film’s overseas opening weekend was projected to exceed $20 million, with the possibility of reaching $25 million if other international markets performed strongly.

These are projections rather than confirmed earnings. The actual opening figures will depend on audience turnout and collections after the film reaches theatres.

Film’s release and cast

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana: Part One adapts the Indian epic for the big screen.

Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi portrays Sita, and Yash appears as Ravana. The ensemble also includes Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Vivek Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh.

The film is planned as a two-part project, with the first instalment scheduled to release in theatres on November 5. The reports identify Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and English among its release languages.

With worldwide advance bookings already beyond ₹100 crore, the film enters its release window with substantial pre-sales behind it. Its opening-day collections will provide the first indication of how that advance interest translates into box-office performance.
