Kareena Kapoor Khan could be heading to South Africa later this month to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan on screen. According to reports, the actress is set to make a special appearance in King and feature in a song titled “Daddy Cool.”

The reported collaboration would bring the two actors together roughly 15 years after their last shared screen appearance in Ra.One. Their previous collaborations also include Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, while the source material lists Asoka, Don and other appearances among their work together.

According to Pinkvilla, Kareena has allotted around five days for the shoot, which is being planned on a large scale in South Africa. The song is reportedly composed by Sachin-Jigar and is expected to feature both an Indian and an international artiste. Their identities, along with the singer’s identity, have not been revealed.

A source cited by Pinkvilla described “Daddy Cool” as a special song designed to bring Shah Rukh and Kareena together in a way audiences have not seen before. The track is also reportedly expected to be one of the major musical highlights of King.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026. Reports also say the makers are planning to unveil a new promotional asset around November 2, Shah Rukh’s birthday.
