Rashmika Mandanna Calls Vijay Deverakonda’s Birthday a ‘Perfect Day’

Actor Vijay Deverakonda celebrated his 37th birthday with wife Rashmika Mandanna, family members and fans in Hyderabad, with moments from the day quickly gaining attention across social media.

Rashmika shared a series of candid photos from the celebrations and described the actor’s birthday as a “perfect day” in a heartfelt social media post. The celebration marked Vijay’s first birthday after the couple’s marriage earlier this year.

“It’s my man’s birthday today and my day went like this… In reverse tho,” Rashmika wrote while sharing glimpses from the day.

Gym sessions, family time and fan celebrations

According to Rashmika, the day included workouts, family interactions, fan meetings and an evening celebration with friends.

“Now we are headed to our friend’s place to celebrate, but before this we went to the gym and worked out, and before that I did some quick cardio while Vijju went out for a meeting,” she wrote.

She also revealed that the couple spent time with fans who had gathered outside their home to wish Vijay on his birthday.

“We went and met our boys and girls who’d come home to show Vijju lots of love and I also ended up getting lots of it as well,” Rashmika added.

The actor said she was especially happy that her shoot schedule had been cancelled, allowing her to spend the day celebrating with Vijay and family members.

“Happiest birthday to you my Viiijjjjjuuuuu!” she concluded.

Vijay and Rashmika greet fans outside their home

Large crowds gathered outside Vijay Deverakonda’s Jubilee Hills residence from the morning to celebrate the actor’s birthday. Videos shared online showed Vijay greeting fans from the balcony alongside Rashmika and family members, including his mother, Madhavi Deverakonda.

The actor later stepped outside to interact more closely with fans and joined a cake-cutting ceremony organised for the occasion.

One of the highlights of the celebration was a specially designed cake inspired by Ranabaali, Vijay’s upcoming period action drama.

Actor Anand Deverakonda also shared unseen pictures from Vijay and Rashmika’s wedding ceremonies while posting a birthday message for his brother.

“This year you celebrate your birthday feeling more complete, with more confidence and courage than ever. Happy birthday, bigggg brother!” Anand wrote.

Rashmika reacts to Vijay’s ‘Ranabaali’ preparation video

The celebrations also coincided with the release of a behind-the-scenes training video from Ranabaali, which featured Vijay practising horse-riding and undergoing physical training for the role.

Reacting to the clip, Rashmika praised Vijay’s dedication while also expressing concern after seeing him fall during practice.

“This is maaaaad cool!! But please be careful! What all we do for cinema is insane but I really wish it brings you all the success and love that you deserve!” she wrote on Instagram.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is set in 19th-century India and stars Vijay as a freedom fighter. Rashmika plays Jayamma, while Arnold Vosloo appears as the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector. The film is scheduled to release on September 11, 2026.

Apart from Ranabaali, Vijay Deverakonda is also set to appear in Rowdy Janardhana.

Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming projects include Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania and co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. She will also feature in Mysaa.
