Aamir Khan Shares Plans for Intimate Wedding With Gauri Spratt

Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5 in an intimate ceremony at his Mumbai home. Speaking during the screening of Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming series Pritam and Pedro, the actor said the celebration will be limited to family members and a handful of close friends.
Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that he and Gauri Spratt will tie the knot on July 5, opting for a private home wedding rather than a large celebrity celebration.
Addressing reporters at the screening of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s Pritam and Pedro, the actor described the ceremony as a “gharelu” (homely) affair. He said the wedding would take place at his residence with only both families and a few close friends in attendance.
Calling July 5 “a very special day” for the couple, Aamir requested blessings from fans and the media for their future together. He said the couple hopes to begin their married life with the goodwill and prayers of well-wishers.
The actor was accompanied by his son, Junaid Khan, at the event. Reports indicate that all four children from Aamir’s and Gauri’s previous relationships are expected to be part of the celebrations. The family gathering is expected to include Aamir’s children—Junaid Khan, Ira Khan and Azad Rao Khan—as well as Gauri’s young son.
The wedding marks Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He first married Reena Dutta in 1986, and the couple share two children, Junaid and Ira, before separating in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. Although the pair announced their separation in 2021, they continue to co-parent their son, Azad.
Aamir and Gauri’s relationship became public during celebrations surrounding the actor’s 60th birthday in March 2025, when he introduced her to the media. The couple have since made a limited number of public appearances while keeping their relationship largely private.
The two have known each other for around 25 years, having reconnected after losing touch over the years. Their renewed friendship eventually developed into a relationship, and they have reportedly been together for more than two years.
In a recent interview, Aamir spoke warmly about his relationship with Gauri, saying she has brought peace and happiness into his life. While acknowledging that his previous marriages were deeply meaningful, he said he feels “very fortunate” to have found Gauri and described himself as finally feeling “complete.”
Gauri Spratt is originally from Bengaluru and has a background in fashion and beauty. She studied at Blue Mountains School before completing an FDA course in Styling and Photography at the University of the Arts London in 2004. She currently runs a BBlunt salon in Mumbai and is also a mother.
Unlike many high-profile Bollywood weddings, the couple have chosen to keep the occasion deliberately understated. Reports suggest there are no plans for a lavish reception, with the focus remaining on a quiet celebration shared with loved ones.
