Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan are teaming up again, this time for an untitled comedy directed by Sajid Khan. The film, produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, will also feature Disha Patani and Shriya Saran and is expected to begin filming in London toward the end of 2026 or in early 2027.

The project brings Kumar and Madhavan together in a comedy after their recent collaborations. The sources describe the new film as an out-and-out comedy of errors revolving around middle-aged men, with the story planned on a large scale.

Patani and Saran have joined the cast as the female leads. According to a source cited in the reports, Madhavan is set to take on a type of comedy role he has not played before.

The film will mark another collaboration between Kumar and Sajid Khan, who have previously worked together on Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2. Their latest project is being planned as a start-to-finish shooting schedule.

Kumar is expected to move to the comedy after wrapping up Samuk, Kanishk Varma’s alien survival thriller. Sajid Khan, meanwhile, is expected to complete Hero Ki Horrorine, starring Yashvardhan Ahuja and Nitanshi Goel, before beginning work on the untitled film.

The London schedule is currently planned for the end of 2026 or early 2027. The sources also describe the production as being mounted on a large scale.

The new pairing follows Kumar and Madhavan’s appearance together in Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh (2025), where they played rivals in the courtroom drama. Their next collaboration will instead place the actors in a comedy setting.
