Every Friday, films compete to beat each on the box office and stand out amongst the competition. So, here is the list of the biggest box office clashes that ever happened
‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor competed against Ajay Devgan’s ‘Shivaay’. Though both the films managed to cross the 100 crores mark at the box office.
‘Padman’, starring Akshay Kumar, competed with ‘Padmavat’, starring Deepika Padukone. Even though Padmavat received harsh criticism from people, it was nonetheless able to do well at the box office.
‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ the biggest blockbuster of all time once competed against Bollywood’s Bhaijan Salman Khan movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Both movies managed to perform well at the box office.
Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif's movie ‘Bang Bang’ competed against Shahid Kapoor’s movie ‘Haider’. Both the films were from different genres and hence performed well at the box office.
Shahrukh Khan’s movie ‘Raees’ competed against Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam’s movie ‘Kaabil’. While ‘Raees’ was declared a semi-hit, ‘Kaabil’ was regarded as a hit film.
‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ starring Shahrukh Khan clashed with Ajay Devgan’s ‘Son of Sardar’. Both movies were incredibly successful financially, Shahrukh's film ultimately won the competition
