Genelia D’Souza is all set to make a comeback and acting debut with a Marathi film after 5 years of break from the silver screen.
The film ‘Ved’ is directed by Riteish Deshmukh and he is also the lead role alongside Genelia. Both of them are also producing the film.
The duo recently shared the poster of the movie and fans are already loving the look of them in the movie.
The movie is set to release on 30th December 2022 and the music is helmed by Ajay and Atul. Further, the movie star cast also includes Jiya Shankar and Ashok Saraf.
In a recent interview, Riteish said that the couple is working on this movie for quite a while and now they are ready to share it with the world.
Both actors announced the movie on their respective social media handles. Genelia wrote that she is very excited to work in a Marathi film as she was born in Maharashtra.
She further added, till now she has done films in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu but this film is very special for her as she is making a Marathi film debut with it.
