Salman Khan Announces New Film Collaboration with Dil Raju & Vamshi Paidipally

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has officially announced his next film, teaming up with filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju. The yet-untitled project, tentatively referred to as SVC63, is set to go on floors in April.

Sharing a photo with the director on social media, Salman wrote, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se from this April with @directorvamshi and #DilRaju.” The announcement marks the actor’s next major project following his upcoming war drama Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.

First Collaboration Across Industries

The film brings together Salman Khan with Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju for the first time, signaling a significant collaboration between Bollywood and Telugu cinema.

Backed by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the project is described as a large-scale action entertainer. The production banner confirmed the development, calling Salman “a phenomenon who has delivered countless moments of celebration” while announcing the film’s April start.

Vamshi Paidipally’s Track Record

Vamshi Paidipally is known for directing commercially successful, star-led films across Telugu and Tamil industries. His filmography includes titles like Munna, Brindavanam, Yevadu, Oopiri, and the National Award-winning Maharshi, as well as the Vijay-starrer Varisu.

He has worked with major stars including Prabhas, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Nagarjuna, Karthi, and Vijay, establishing himself as a filmmaker skilled in blending action with emotional storytelling.

This project will mark his entry into Bollywood as a director.

Production Scale and Release Timeline

The film is being positioned as a grand theatrical spectacle with a pan-India appeal. Production is scheduled to begin in April 2026, with reports indicating a potential Eid 2027 release window.

While details about the cast and storyline remain under wraps, the collaboration has already generated significant buzz within the industry.

Salman Khan’s Upcoming Release: Maatrubhumi

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is also preparing for the release of Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

The film, previously titled Battle of Galwan, features Salman as an Indian Army colonel leading his troops against a larger Chinese force. It aims to depict themes of courage, sacrifice, and resilience, while also exploring emotional and familial dimensions.

The release date, initially set for April 17, has been postponed, with a new date yet to be officially confirmed.
