Aditya Dhar’s period spy thriller Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, continues its dream run at the box office even in its sixth week. The film has shown exceptional stamina both in India and overseas, breaking multiple records and inching closer to the prestigious Rs 1,300 crore worldwide club.

Dhurandhar Domestic Box Office Performance

On Day 39 (Monday), Dhurandhar added another Rs 2.25 crore to its domestic tally, taking its total India collection to Rs 860.10 crore, as per a statement shared by producers Jio Studios. With this, the film has surpassed the lifetime domestic earnings of KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 859.70 crore) to become the third highest-grossing Indian film ever in India.

The Ranveer Singh starrer outperformed newer releases as well. On the same day, Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis earned just Rs 35 lakh, while the Hindi version of Prabhas’ The Raja Saab managed Rs 1.75 crore. Despite entering its sixth week, Dhurandhar continues to earn more than fresh releases.

Trade experts expect Tuesday’s numbers to remain strong as tickets are being sold at a special price of Rs 149, which could further boost collections.

Highest-Grossing Films in India (Domestic)

With its current numbers, Dhurandhar now trails only:

  • Pushpa 2: The Rule – Rs 1234.10 crore
  • Baahubali 2: The Conclusion – Rs 1030.42 crore

The film has already become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever at the domestic box office, beating the dubbed Hindi version of Pushpa 2.

Dhurandhar Worldwide Box Office Collection

Globally, Dhurandhar is performing just as strongly. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film collected $31.588 million (Rs 284.83 crore) overseas after its sixth weekend. As per Sacnilk, the film’s total worldwide collection stands at Rs 1258.60 crore, officially surpassing SS Rajamouli’s RRR (Rs 1230 crore).

With this feat, Dhurandhar has become the fourth highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, behind:

  • Dangal – Rs 2070.30 crore
  • Baahubali 2 – Rs 1788.06 crore
  • Pushpa 2: The Rule – Rs 1742.10 crore

Interestingly, if China collections are excluded, Dhurandhar also emerges as the highest-grossing Hindi film ever worldwide.

Nearing Rs 1,300 Crore Milestone

As per the latest update from Jio Studios, Dhurandhar has already touched Rs 1,296 crore globally, with:

  • Rs 1,011.73 crore from India
  • Rs 284.10 crore from overseas markets

The film crossed Rs 850 crore net in India within 37 days and is now steadily moving towards the Rs 900 crore mark.

Beats Competition From The Raja Saab

Despite facing competition from Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, Dhurandhar has maintained a strong hold, especially in the Hindi belt. While The Raja Saab saw a sharp drop after opening weekend, Dhurandhar collected Rs 5.75 crore and Rs 6.15 crore on its sixth Saturday and Sunday, followed by Rs 2.25 crore on Monday.

According to Box Office India, Dhurandhar is expected to finish nearly Rs 40 crore nett ahead of Pushpa 2, with particularly strong performance in Mysore/Karnataka, despite releasing only in Hindi there.

Trade Reaction and Film Details

Praising the film’s performance, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote,

“DREAM RUN CONTINUES… Dhurandhar continues to dominate the box office for the sixth consecutive week. A run that’s truly dream-like.”

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The makers have already announced a sequel, slated for release on March 19, 2026, in five languages.

With no signs of slowing down, Dhurandhar is poised to rewrite box office history in the coming days.
