Director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic spectacles in Indian film history. Star-Studded Cast: Who Plays What
Leading the film is Ranbir Kapoor, who takes on the role of Lord Ram, regarded as the embodiment of righteousness and virtue. Reports suggest the actor has undergone extensive preparation for the role.
Sai Pallavi stars as Goddess Sita, a central figure in the epic and revered as an incarnation of Lakshmi. Her casting is expected to bring emotional depth and grace to the narrative.
Kannada superstar Yash steps into the role of Ravana (Lankesh), portraying the complex antagonist known for his intellect, devotion, and power.

The makers have confirmed that the first official glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram will be unveiled on April 2, coinciding with the festival of Hanuman Jayanti.
Announcing the update on Rama Navami, producer Namit Malhotra shared:
“This is a story that belongs to all of us… guided by a deep sense of responsibility, devotion, and care… We look forward to sharing the next glimpse, ‘Rama’ on 2nd April…”
The reveal is being positioned as a global fan event, marking the beginning of the film’s promotional journey.
Global Promotions to Begin in the United States
Following the teaser and poster launch, the team is set to kick off promotions in the United States. Ranbir Kapoor, along with Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra, is expected to participate in a media interaction event toward the end of March.
The US tour will serve as the first phase of a broader international campaign, with additional events reportedly planned, including potential appearances at global platforms like Comic-Con.
A Global-Scale Production
Mounted on a massive budget reportedly around ₹4,000 crore, Ramayana is being produced by Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with Monster Mind Creations.
