Priyanka Chopra Lauds Dhurandhar 2 Team, Calls Aditya Dhar a “Man With a Mission”

Actor Priyanka Chopra has joined the growing list of celebrities praising Dhurandhar: The Revenge (commonly referred to as Dhurandhar 2), starring Ranveer Singh.

Taking to Instagram Stories on April 1, Priyanka shared her reaction after watching the film, congratulating the cast and crew while giving a special shout-out to Ranveer, whom she referred to as “mere dost.”

“Congratulations, mere dost,” she wrote, tagging Ranveer Singh along with co-stars including Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.

She also praised director Aditya Dhar, writing:
“Aditya, you’re a man with a mission. Dhurandhar in every way is a revelation. Thank you all for your artistry.”

Longstanding Bond With Ranveer Singh

Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh share a long professional association, having previously worked together in films like Gunday, Dil Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani.

Their off-screen camaraderie was evident in Priyanka’s warm message, which highlighted both personal and professional admiration for the actor’s latest performance.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has received strong endorsements from across the film industry. Actor Vicky Kaushal described the film as “nothing short of gold standard,” praising its craft and the performances of the cast.

Several other prominent names, including Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt and Ayushmann Khurrana, have also shared positive reactions.

The appreciation extends beyond Bollywood, with South Indian cinema figures such as Rajinikanth and Ram Charan also acknowledging the film’s scale and execution.

Box Office Success and Audience Response

Released on March 19, the film has emerged as a major box office success. It opened strongly with approximately ₹145 crore (including previews) and has continued its momentum in subsequent weeks.

Reports indicate that the film has crossed the ₹900 crore mark globally, with some estimates placing its earnings significantly higher as it continues its theatrical run. The sequel builds on the success of its 2025 predecessor, with Ranveer Singh reprising his roles as Hamza Ali Mazari and Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

Audiences have particularly responded to the film’s scale, action sequences and detailed storytelling, keeping it firmly in the spotlight weeks after release.

Priyanka Chopra’s Current Projects

Priyanka Chopra is currently balancing multiple projects across India and international markets. She is expected to appear next in Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is scheduled for release on April 7, 2027.

She has also been working on other projects while traveling between India and the United States, maintaining a strong presence in both industries.
