The trailer of Bhooth Bangla has been unveiled, offering a mix of eerie thrills and classic slapstick humor. The film marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan after 15 years, following their last collaboration on Khatta Meetha (2010).

Set in the fictional town of Manglapur, the trailer opens with a haunting voiceover introducing a dangerous supernatural entity named Vadhusur. Known for its association with black magic and ghosts, the town becomes the backdrop for a chaotic story that unfolds inside a sprawling mansion where Akshay Kumar’s character resides.

Haunted Mansion, Dark Curse and Comic Chaos

The trailer establishes a familiar horror-comedy setup, with Akshay Kumar’s character navigating bizarre events in a grand bungalow surrounded by a haunted forest. A looming curse tied to Vadhusur threatens to disrupt a wedding, setting off a chain of supernatural occurrences.

As the narrative progresses, the tone shifts between suspense and humor. The eerie visuals are balanced with situational comedy, with the film leaning heavily on quirky characters and chaotic sequences. The storyline hints at a classic battle against a malevolent force attempting to “bring someone back to life.”

Nostalgia and Ensemble Cast Add to Appeal

The trailer highlights Priyadarshan’s signature style, combining ensemble-driven comedy with horror elements. The film reunites Akshay Kumar with frequent collaborators like Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani, evoking nostalgia for their earlier comedic hits.

The cast also includes Tabu, whose role appears to carry an element of mystery, along with Wamiqa Gabbi, Jisshu Sengupta, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar, and Rajesh Sharma.

Several moments in the trailer draw comparisons to the tone and energy of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, with a mix of physical comedy, suspenseful sequences, and character-driven humor.

Trailer Launch Draws Mixed Attention Online

While the trailer generated excitement, the film’s launch event also drew attention for Akshay Kumar’s unconventional outfit. The actor appeared in a distressed, layered ensemble featuring a torn shirt and multiple ties, which sparked widespread reactions on social media.

Users shared humorous comments, with some questioning the fashion choice and others turning it into memes. The actor’s interaction with co-star Rajpal Yadav at the press event also went viral, adding to the online buzz surrounding the film.
